Cirrus Research plc is a UK based manufacturer of Noise Measurement Instruments.

Founded in 1970 and based in Hunmanby, North Yorkshire, we specialise in the design, manufacture and distribution of noise measurement instruments that are designed to help users meet the requirements of standards and legislation throughout the world.

Our portfolio of customers covers almost every industry including manufacturing, petrochemical, aerospace, engineering, power generation, motorsport, and mining.
In line with our worldwide expansion plans we are launching a new Cirrus company, Cirrus Research S.L. which will have its office based in Barcelona.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has a desire to achieve.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
The right person will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record and have excellent references. Experience of selling within the safety, industrial instrumentation industry is preferred but not essential. This is a great opportunity for a business development executive with a talent for building business relationships effectively.

The role:

To sell noise measurement equipment to all types of businesses across Spain.
The successful candidate will generate his/her own leads, present to customers, produce proposals and negotiate the best commercial terms within agreed parameters.
He / she will need to work well within an international team and be focused on the achievement of overall targets.

Responsibilities:

Focus on achieving and maintaining new business sales targets
Develop own sales pipeline within agreed sectors/ companies to drive and close new business and opportunities.
Ensure strong customer relationships are developed and maintained.
Deliver product demonstrations to an extremely high standard.
To devise marketing campaigns to target new businesses.
Attend trade shows when required.
Account management.

The Salary for this position is dependent upon experience and is within the range of 25,000 – 30,000 € + bonus + car allowance, laptop, mobile phone.
